Instant Connection

It can happen at the very first meeting or it can grow over time.

It does not occur with every pair if eyes that meet yours or with every handshake.

It is the meshing of minds, the meeting of souls, the intervening of destinies, the call that seems to cross time and distance. Rapport, the chemistry, vibing - call it what you will hard to define but so lovely to experience.

The almost mystical synchronicity that exists between two people. It cannot be replicated nor can be analysed. It is just there, where you feel the other person matches you, yin for yan, chord for scale, note to pitch. Why is it you can connect instantly to someone and no to another?

Chemistry between two people is nothing more than a satisfaction of their individual needs, a mutual clicking or expectations.

A rapport is silent, invisible not intrusing. It is in the way you look at certain things the same way. You know without having to explain you both just get the hang of it simultaneously in a similar maner.

We connect easily with people we can have a good laugh or giggle with. Chemistry is an instant attraction. It could arise because somebody reminds you of someone else who you are or were close to. It is like an infatuation you want to discover more about the other person.

In a long term deeper relationship, however you will bond better with a person who is similar to you in basic values but different in personality. Very often what starts off as great chemistry can fizzle out soon. So people who share a good and continuing rapport are those who are apart from ‘hitting it off’ well also connect on other core values like trust, commitment and deep liking for each other.
