5 Draw backs of being an introvert :(
1. People think that we don’t talk at all. Come on guys talking does not mean 24*7.
2. People think we are dumb.
3. People think introverts ko “ sab chalega” so it is okay not to take their opinion in to consideration.
4. People think we can’t express better. Well there are ways of expressing other than speaking too.
5. People think we don’t know how to have fun and that we take life seriously.
There are still many more but right now could come up with these 5 only.

- this is the most toughest thing to fill up, but i guess, this is what i am like: a very simple human being( but people around me dont believe just because i am well versed with the fashion and the prevailing trend sense) , a good listener,wish i was a good talker too,takes time to come close to people,hate liars,one who is mostly misunderstood of being arrogant, but once they know me, they think they were so very stupid to think so LOL !!!

I agree with you. Introverts are mistaken as dumb.
In today's world one has to keep showing off his/her skills to get their work done or move up.
so true... :) nice post... is there a sequel with the other drawbacks ?? it would be a good post... then people could know that they are mistaken about the introverts...

well, i dont think introverts would find it comfortable to write things on blogs, infact u would find more introverts on net :)
extroverts dont need to write blogs( only my belief , m not sure though)
6. Introverts think that they are introverts.
I somehow have always felt that, such things are more in our mind than what they are in reality. Just like the feeling of vomiting increases when one 'thinks/feels' that he/she is about to vomit, most of such thoughts are mainly built up in our mind.
As Munnabhai says "Sir ke andar ka chemical locha hai..."
Though it might not work in every case, but, just taking off the fact that he/she isn't an introvert from his/her mind will help one in getting over this feeling.
PS: I guess I myself have gone crazy with vomiting all this funda in here... :P

well there are personality types so one cant completely say that all is in mind, though upto an extent if one stops thinking that he is an introvert / extrovert, would probably help.
this is more than just the chemical locha , i guess it is a hugeeee chemical locha . :)
Bowled over.....quite an appropriate intrprtation f an introvert...we need all cynics to read this bit....

Sir/ma'am, i think i am an introvert and i very much disagree on certain points - especially 2 and 3. Maybe people need to know that you are an introvert and if they really have got some fundamental comments from you (which have made sense to them) they will appreciate the fact that you are an introvert but will still come to you for comments. What an introvert needs to learn is probably give frank comments whenever asked. You need not turn into an extrovert to do that. (Its just my opinion :) and thought i should say so...)

and secondly , we are not the ones who would oppose to anything to a greater extent so ppl think that inko sab chalega.
